It was said that Kokeshi dolls spread as a souvenir in the hot springs of the Tohoku region in the latter half of the Edo period. Gunma Prefecture is the largest production of "The modern Kokeshi" in Japan.“Harunoyume” has a plum blossom design and a gentle expression. Red and white combination is used for Celebration and means happiness.Kokeshi dolls are vulnerable to light and humidity. Please avoid places exposed to sunlight or high humidity.There are individual differences because each is handmade.
